Before becoming assistant director at Kent Memorial Library in Kent, Connecticut, Joanna Kelly was a staff reporter, columnist, and historical feature writer for Citizen News, Fairfield County, Connecticut. The author of nine books, she earned enthusiastic praise for her historic research, including an honorary D.Lit. Degree, and recognition as an American author in the 75th edition of Marquis Who’s Who In America. Joanna was appointed an ambassador to the Connecticut State Culture and Tourism Department by former Governor Jodi Rell, where she participated in making culture and tourism a source of pride for the state.
Joanna lives in a country cottage in the rolling hills of Litchfield County, Connecticut.
